Lol at your edition name and the 9-10k mark up over MSRP these corporate Toyota dealers put on them, plus the back-end manufacturer rebates they get for selling them at or near MSRP.

The 5th gen 4Runner irks me because it has several nice things and several weird things, and/or annoying things that Toyota cheaped out on.
1. Unlike the 4th gen where full-time 4wd with a Torsen center diff was standard, on the 5th gen you can only get full-time 4wd on the Limited. Even the Trail and TRD Pro with their various off-roady traction control gimmicks don't have full-time 4wd. Want full-time 4wd with the extra 4wd gimmicks like crawl control and the locking rear diff? Tough.
2. It's tall . Like you look down on drivers of older full-size pickups and SUVs. The dash is super tall. The backup camera is totally essential because most normal-height vehicles don't even come up to the bottom of the rear window. The step-in height is ridiculously high. I'm 5'11" and have to really swing one leg up in there then use it to hoist myself the rest of the way. Running boards would be great, but they're a dealer accessory. Oh, and if you want full-time 4wd and thus get a Limited, you can't have running boards, because the Limited has an aero package to make it look less like a Transformer, and it includes side skirts. Which you can't step on.
3. It has weird ergonomics, like the window switches on the doors are at the very tippy top of the door card. Which because of everything on it including the beltline being so tall, is an awkward reach for anyone whose wrists aren't as flexible as Meryl Streep's neck in Death Becomes Her.
